Two
I just ordered the twins 2nd birthday party invites. Are they really turning two?!!!! It's a little bitter sweet I guess for me because I am loving this stage/age but they REALLY are growing up. I officially don't have babies anymore. We have graduated to 2t clothing (in some things) which is so weird to be out of the 'months' clothing. I still refer to them as babies. I think I always will until they can tell me to stop it. People ask me how old they are and I now say almost TWO. So sad (and happy) how fast it all goes.
I put them in their 4th of July outfits the other day because they didn't get to wear them on the 4th (to cold). Of course we were going to no place other than Costco :-). It is so hard to get them to pose for a pic together, in fact it is impossible. This was my best attempt :-)

Fun at the beach
We spent a long weekend last weekend with my family at my Grandparents beach home on Hood Canal. We had a blast playing at the beach and enjoying each others company. We have tried to get together as a family every summer for a weekend for the past two years now. I hope it is a tradition we keep for many years to come.
Here a few pics from the weekend!

4th of July

We had the privilege of spending the 4th over on Hood Canal at my Grandparents beach house. It was so much fun. The twins did so good & loved the beach. The weather was not great but we made due with lots of food, drinks and family. We kept the twins up late on the 4th and took them down to the beach to watch fireworks. It was so neat for me to be able to share that with them as I have many memories of sitting in that exact spot as a kid taking in the magic of the fireworks show on the beach. To our surprise they were not at all scared of the loud bangs & booms . They actually thought it was pretty cool.
