We took advantage today of the highest temps we have seen in Seattle since September of 09' (a whopping 72 degrees) & went to the park for a little lunch & play time. Jerame was able to come and meet us for a bit. The twins had a blast and are still sleeping so that means they really had fun!!

Weekend Away
We spent the weekend together with our little family at Suncadia. We had a wonderful time hanging out together & celebrating our anniversary and Fathers Day. Unfortunately the weather was horrible and we really couldn't even go outside for a good part of the day on Saturday because it was too cold & windy. It was a bummer. We got to enjoy a little bit of sun & pool time on Friday though so that was at least nice. So we ended up ordering a lot of room service, watching movies and letting the twins run around like crazy through the hotel. We had fun.
The little toddler pool was just perfect for the twins
Checking it all out on the way to the pool
Riding the swings like big kids!
Enjoying blueberry pancakes with Daddy on Fathers Day.
What a lucky little girl (& boy) to have such an amazing Daddy.

5 years
Five years ago I married my best friend. Happy anniversary honey! It's amazing how much has happened in 5 years and then again it also seems to have flown by. We both agreed to not doing presents this year because we just had a bunch of work done in our back yard. (I should have known better). So this morning a certain little blond curly haired boy delivered me a very beautiful present in bed. What a special set of guys I have.
We have lots of fun planned for the weekend. Excited to spend our anniversary
with our little joys.

It's wet
It has been hard to explain to two almost 2 year olds that they cannot go outside because it is raining for the 10,234 day in a row. Carter has now figured out how to open our sliding glass door which does not help matters. The only thing I find myself saying lately is "no, we can't go outside because it's to wet". So now all Chlo has been saying all day everyday is "it's wet" and pointing outside. It is WET again today & I am over it. Hoping the sun will show it's beautiful self this weekend.
But for now it is wet. So I will try and entertain them inside again today...wish me luck!

In love with weekend days
We welcomed this weekend with big huge open arms & embraced every single minute of it after one long/exhausting week. I got some much needed girlfriend time on both Friday & Saturday. Lucky me! And we had a great family day on Sunday. It was so wonderful to see the sun on Saturday but we welcomed the rain back Sunday. Bummer. Even though it rained we still had a wonderful day.

Is it really June?
Wow, I can't believe it is June 3rd and I can't remember a day in the past several weeks that it hasn't rained. I guess we do live in Seattle but I am REALLY ready for a good dose of vitamin D. Just a little sun would be nice. Even though the sun is not shinning I do love the month of June. June means it's almost summer in Seattle (the very best time of year), it's our anniversary month, and June brings my favorite flower to bloom, the Peony.
We had a better day today with Chloe. We didn't have to go to the Dr. which I am considering a very good sign. She took a great nap. Although, the 3 of us did go to Target this morning and Chloe threw a gigantic tantrum about being in the stroller about 1/3 of the way through our trip. So I had to take her out of the stroller and carry her around the store for the rest of the our time there. I was seriously sweating trying to hold the basket, hold Chloe, and push the stroller all at the same time. I received several sympathetic looks from fellow Momma's pushing their well behaved babes around the store. Sometimes it's easier to break a sweat myself than be that Mom with the screaming child in the stroller at Target. I have to say though by the end of the trip I was most certainly rethinking the importance of anything we bought at Target after that episode.
On a serious note though, Chloe does seem better so we are just continuing on the meds and watching her like hawks to make sure the breathing stuff stays under control.
We were able to spend a little bit of time outside this afternoon. It has been tough trying to entertain them for so many weeks on end without being able to go outside because of the horrible weather. Really looking forward to some sunny days ahead, fingers-crossed!
