Chloe & Carter always steal each others pacifiers and they normally think nothing of it. It is just part of their everyday lives :-). We had Kirk, Karen & Sydney over to play and the first thing Chloe did was seal Sydney's paci...she didn't think it was so funny!

Army Crawl
When we were visiting Jerame's Dad last weekend Carter learned that he could crawl to his Dad. It was just too precious for words. I HEART these boys.

Easter Weekend
Jerame's first blog ...This is my cameo posting to tell everyone about our fantastic Easter weekend. As some of you may know my dad, Paul (known as “Papa Paul” to Livy, Skyler, Chloe, and Carter), was diagnosed with advance prostate cancer a year ago. After he was diagnosed I spent a week with him, which included Easter Sunday, coming to grips with the life changing event and ultimately figuring out how to start fighting the fight. The week ended up being one of the most significant, memorable, and impactful weeks of my life.
We had not seen Papa Paul since October. He had spent the last two months at MD Anderson, in Huston, getting radiation treatment, which he responded remarkably well to. This meant the last he had seen Carter and Chloe they were only two months old. We were all desperate to see each other so Katie and I mustered the courage to make the 5 hour drive, with the twins, to Deer Park, just outside of Spokane.
After we purchased a dual DVD player, Baby Einstein was a critical part of our travel plans, we started our trek east at 7:30 Thursday night. We made great time, the twins slept the entire way, and our trip was off to a great start. Once we were there we kicked off what turned out to be an equally memorable Easter weekend.
We spent most of our time playing with the twins, eating, telling stories about the hippie days, and enjoying watching Carter and Chloe play with their grandpa. The highlights were Carter & Chloe getting to see and pet their first horse (Dad is convinced Chloe is going to be a cowgirl), waking Papa Paul up with Carter pulling his nose, and my famous seafood pasta.
After a perfect Easter dinner we started the trek back to Seattle. We left at 6 PM with the idea that the twins would sleep just as they did on the way there. WRONG…….. about two hours in they both decided to melt down, which meant we spent a lot of time changing diapers on the center console, trying to calm screaming babies in gas station parking lots, and arguing about which one of us would get to hitch hike the rest of the way home. We finally calmed the babies down and were able to have a safe and uneventful rest of the trip. All and all it was a perfect Easter!!

Swings
A few weekends ago we had a beautiful sunny spring day in Seattle. Since it was such a lovely day we decided to go in search of a park that has baby swings. They seemed to small still to fit into the swings by themselves so we thought we would try them together. They really liked the swings and they just looked so cute swinging together.
Lots of babies
I had some Mommy's & Babies from my Twins group come
over to play last week. There were 8 babies & 4 Mom's.
We are always out numbered!

Is this a crazy scene or what? Only 7 babies in this picture because one was in the jumparoo!

Las Vegas

Jerame & I took a trip to Las Vegas a few weekends ago. We were gone for 3 nights and 3 1/2 days. It was SO NICE! We stayed at the Venetian in a suite that was just gorgeous. We were defiantly spoiled. The trip was part of an incentive trip for Jerame's work. Last year we went to San Diego & I was pregnant. I was able to enjoy myself much more this time! We did a little gambling, ate a lot, drank a lot and just had the best time finally spending some time together! I also got to go to the Spa one afternoon as well which was a nice treat. The only crazy thing about our trip was the fact that neither of us could ever sleep in!! Yes, I know...insanity! We were up no later than 8 a.m. every day, even on those days where we went to bed at 4 a.m. The babies have trained us well I guess. It was hard being away from the babies for that long...I don't think there was ever a second of any of the days we were there that thoughts of them didn't pop into my mind. When it was time to go home, the plane just couldn't fly fast enough. We were happy to get away for a bit but even happier to come home.

7 months old
We have been quite the busy little family over the past few weeks. So much to catch up on! The babies turned 7 months old last weekend. They are doing new things everyday and I find myself getting a little sad that they seem to be growing up so fast. I love watching them discover new things. They just seem to find so much joy & excitement in such simple things it really is amazing. Both babies are sitting up on their own and love to sit and play with toys. They actually get very mad when I lay them down on their backs. Carter is also officially crawling. He is doing the army crawl but can move himself across the room in a blink of the eye. I no longer can leave them on the floor on a blanket while I shower or do whatever it is I want to do. I am going to have to start getting creative with how I get things done when they are awake. Luckily they are starting to really get on a good nap schedule so I have more time during the day to get things done. Chloe is starting to lift her little butt off the ground & get herself up onto her knees but she is pretty happy just sitting & playing. They have been sleeping pretty good at night too. They are rarely ever eating at night anymore and will most times sleep without getting up until 7:00 am. It is awesome! Often times in the mornings Jerame & I will just wait for them to wake up because they are so much fun in the morning. They are so much fun when they first wake up, we get so excited to see them.
Jerame & I went to Las Vegas last weekend for 3 nights. It was our first trip away from the babies. We had so much fun. It was so wonderful to spend time together and have a little fun in Vegas. I will post pictures from our trip soon. The babies stayed with my Mom & Jerry. They did such a good job and Grandpa & Nana did an even better job at taking care of them. We are just so thankful to have such wonderful parents to take care of our little ones. I will have more later...until then here are some pics from the last few weeks! Enjoy...

Ready to go!!!

I wanted to take a picture of them both on my lap like
they did with Jer above...but they both kept jumping off
my lap. They were not cooperating :-)
More snow in March? So over it!
Giving loves to Brother.
Out to Pizza in the Frog & Bunny outfits. They were
so mad that we made them wear these outfits becaues
the jackets were a little hot...we had to though
they are almost too small for them & they are adorable in them.
