Ouch!
Poor Jerame got all four of his Wisdom Teeth pulled today. He is in a lot of pain but is being a total trooper. His Dentist started telling him to get them pulled when he was 17. Now at 32 he finally had them taken out. Way to procrastinate Jer!!! Think happy thoughts for him and pray for a speedy recovery.

Knauss Twins
I wanted to share this neat picture of my Dad & his brothers when they were kids. My Dad is the one in the middle & his twin brother to the left. Their older brother Dan to the right. In the picture with them is their Grandfather. Chloe definitely takes after the Knauss side. I especially see a lot of her in the twins. It's funny we never even considered that we would have twins when we decided to have a baby. Obviously it runs in my family though! We got the surprise of our life and now we living the the biggest joy we could ever ask for!!!!
6 months pics a little late

When Jerame was in Europe last month I surprised him when he got home with pictures of the babies taken right before Valentines Day! We went to Babies R Us to have them taken. Chloe would NOT smile. We tried everything but she just wouldn't do it! They are just the cutest little babies in the world.

7 to 7
We had a very exciting night last night. The babies slept from about 7:30pm to 7am!!! Chloe woke up and needed her pacifier put back in her mouth once but that was it! They are such big kids now :-) I am so proud of them, they are doing such a good job. I don't expect this to happen every night but we will really take what we can get! I love that it's staying lighter outside later in the day and that the weather will soon be warmer. Even the babies seem to be in better moods that or they are just getting more sleep which = happier babies. As always I am excited for the weekend. We don't have any plans, just looking forward to spending time together!
All bundled up and ready for our walk yesterday
Daddy worked from home last Monday and Chloe
was helping him answer his emails :-)

Teeth!
We have suspected that the babies are starting to teeth for a while now and yesterday we got the confirmation. Yesterday morning I noticed that Carter had one oft he bottom teeth starting to cut through the gums. By around 5pm there was a 2nd tooth coming through too! I was so surprised because he really hasn't been that cranky and for the most part has been his happy self. He did seem more uncomfortable than normal when trying to get him to go to bed last night but he slept like a champ all night with no waking up! Carter has slept through the night for several night in a row now (7 to 6:30am) yippeee. I am so proud of him! Chloe is also definitely teething but there haven't been any teeth popping through yet. She is also doing great at sleeping lately.
Last night I tried hot yoga for the first time. One of the ladies in my twin-mom's group teaches the class in Redmond so despite my fear of the heat I went to try it out. I absolutely LOVED it! The room is 105 degrees with 85% humidity. Just the heat alone gives you a work out. I don't think I have ever sweat so much in my life. I am so sore today and it feels great. I actually feel like I am the strongest I have ever been in my life right now despite the lingering pregnancy lbs. Lifting two 15-16lb. babies 2,000 times a day I think will force just about anyone to gain some muscle!

6 month stats
I took the babies to their 6 month Dr.'s appointment last Monday. They checked out just perfect! Carter weighs 15lbs. 11oz. and Chloe 14lbs. 7.5oz. Both babies are growing as nicely as can be. The Dr. was very pleased with their progress! They are both in average percentiles which is fab for twins. We also had to get their 3rd round of newborn shots (they are given in a series of 3). It's never a pleasant experience and really hard for me to watch. They were not feeling well for about 24 hours after the shots but were back to normal by Tuesday evening. Jerame was out of town for this appointment and I'm not really sure what I was thinking scheduling it when I knew he was going to be out of town. I won't do that again. Taking care of two cranky babes alone is not fun. They won't go back to the Dr. again until their 9 month appointment...just around the corner. Jeeez. I think we only have to get one shot at the next visit. I know I haven't been updating this blog as often as normal lately. I just haven't had as much time lately when the babies are awake we are playing, bottling, changing etc. and when they sleep I clean & try to get myself together. Nap time is like a marathon for me. It is SO nice though now that they are napping and will stay asleep for longer stretches of time. The babies are getting very busy playing and scooting all over the place. The Dr. said she will be surprised if Carter is not crawling in a month! He is getting up on his hands and knees and doing the rocking thing. This does not leave me very much time! Shoot. I am enjoying this stage so much and know that once they start being mobile I will not be able to take my eyes off of them for a second. We got high chairs last weekend and it is so much easier to feed them this way rather than trying to keep them sitting in the Bumbo Chairs. The babies love sitting in them and will actually just hang out watching us in the kitchen. I think they like being up high and again seeing the world from a different angle. Things are starting to feel much more manageable lately. I really feel like I have a them on a good schedule during the day and they are continuing to go to bed at least by 7:30 sometimes earlier. They get up once during the night to eat around 3-4am and then back down until 6:30-7am. It's wonderful! I am so excited it's almost spring and for all the fun things I will be able to do with them this summer. I can't wait!
