Carter has the stomach flu. I am sure Chloe is not far behind in getting it. It's days like the past few that really make me feel like a Momma. Like I am good at my job, I mean really good. The biggest reward in the world is when your feverish little one reaches for you because they know you can make them feel better with just your touch. I love that.
Call me crazy...but as I clean up the vomit off of my couch I get some weird sense of satisfaction. Like, I can do this and I am doing this with nothing but love in my heart for those two. Wow. I am proud of the fact that we are all still in our PJ's haven't done much of anything (other than watch a few hours of Barney) and that I am 100% okay with just being with them & them with me. Being a Momma might not always be rosy and the patience may sometimes run a little low.
But I love every single minute of it.

OMG...the stomach flu is the worst! Hang in there, your a good mom and you can get through it. I remember when the twins got it, Presley had it Sat-Wed and then Cash got it Wed-Sat...a full week of vomit. I actually didn't mind it. They layed on the couch and we cuddled for a week, I loved it! Good Luck:))
Sweet post, Katie. You are an amazing Mom who has taught us all a lot!
