A cabin in the woods

We went last weekend with Jers family to a cute little (it was actually huge) cabin in the woods to get away for the long weekend. The cabin was in Ronald just outside of Roslynn. It was a beautiful spot with a view of Lake Cle Elum. We celebrated Jer's bday and the cousins had a blast together. The weather was not perfect but not horrible so we were able to get out in the fresh air some. Unfortunately Carter & Chloe both woke up Saturday with fevers. By mid morning we started to notice Chlo's breathing stuff was starting to act up so instead of waiting until things to get bad we called her Dr. and were instructed to take her to be seen. Luckily there is a wonderful urgent care right in Cle Elum and we were able to get her seen right away. They gave her a neb treatment which seemed to really open her up and we were able to escape the rest of the weekend without much more problems with it. I am nervous for the cold/flu season though with her as it seems we are defiantly heading down the path of Asthma. I hope she will grow out of it. It is very scary.
Sunday I spent the majority of the day in bed with the same virus I think the twins had. So all in all it was kind of unfortunate that we all ended up sick on our little weekend get away but it was still fun to be together with the family.

Jer's Mom (Jane), who does not normally drink much took a Tequilla shot with Jer for his bday :-)

Kids watching Barney on the ipad (the best invention ever for kids & travel!!!)

Love this pic, Carter was in awe of the cake & candles
